What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you choose to provide, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, service interest and message. We also record the time and source page, plus a one-way hash derived from your IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We do not store the raw IP address in our enquiry record.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to understand your request, respond, arrange a health check and take steps you ask us to take before a possible contract. We use limited technical data to protect the form and website against misuse. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract and our legitimate interests in responding to genuine enquiries and keeping the service secure.
Who processes it
Information may be processed by trusted suppliers that help us host the website and database, send enquiry notifications, and provide business email. These currently include our website platform and its infrastructure providers, Resend, and Microsoft 365. They may only process information for the services they provide to us. We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some suppliers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards required by UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become client work are normally kept for up to 12 months, then deleted or anonymised. If we work together, we may keep relevant records for longer where needed to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal and tax obligations.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to how we use it. Email us to exercise a right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies and automated decisions
We do not intentionally use advertising or analytics cookies on this website. Essential technology may be used to deliver and protect the service. We do not use enquiry information for automated decision-making or profiling.
